At Youth Journalism Alliance, we seek to provide youth ages 9 – 18 with the opportunity to discover, share stories and cultivate a long-lasting interest in journalism that will serve them in the 21st century and beyond.
“We aim to inspire a new generation…[to] become future global citizens.”
The YJA partners with Global Youth Philanthropy (GYP), a volunteer organization empowering youth to create meaningful and lasting change in their communities and the world. Globally connected across the US, Canada, and China, GYP provides youth with the skills, tools, and resources to make their ideas a reality.

We believe that everyone deserves to tell their story, and together, we can authenticate and highlight each other’s narratives and the lessons we all have to share.Interested in learning more? Contact us below.
